'ORDINARY' PEOPLE
_____________________

The word 'ordinary' is not a word of denigration, at least not in this essay.

'Ordinary people' means, in a sense, the 'average' person.

A person, is the definition of a homo sapien, an animal  who appears to have a level of knowledge and existence above that of other animals in the chain. This, of course is a matter of dispute at whatever level one might choose.

The 'average' person is the 'salt of the earth'.

The 'salt of the earth' is the factor which determines what is 'viable' or not viable.

'Viable' is what is 'living'.

'Living' is what is dynamic (it moves from one place to another in a tangible way towards a positive (survival)) and able to sense the world in which it is placed. This accounts for all flora and fauna. It does not include what a number of human animals consider to be inanimate (rocks and so forth).

We were all born 'ordinary' people (human animals). 'We term this 'normal'. There are NO parameters for 'normal' since we all differ in some way from each other. That is the nature of sexual reproduction finis.

'Extra-ordinary' people are an invention. They are an invention of those who have abilities which do not accord with others. Thus the terms' born before his time' (or whatever), are meaningless.

We all have talents and skills. These may be positive or negative (or anything in between). However, positive is survival and negative is not survival, no matter how your construe this; it's just a question of (questionable) language and logic (or lack of it).

So what am I saying?

All babies e.g. of homo sapiens are born at a certain time, in a certain place under certain circumstances. None have a say in the matter. These babies (siblings, progeny, or whatever) are ordinary people. They are normal for what they are born as (whatever we may account any 'abnormalty' or whatever. Nature aborts quite naturally what is not consistent with life.

Note here: this is not an abortionist/anti-abortionist essay. The morality is not in question here, nor is a diatribe on those babies who are not able to cope with nature.

Those of us who have less difficulties than most will accommodate those less fortunate. This is a function of our overall survival, therefore there are no questions to be answered. Okay?

So, I will state my case.

'Ordinary' people are okay. I have put that in common parlance.

'Okay' means that 'orrdinary' people will perform, to their best abilities to help themselves first so that they can help others second. This is selfish on a postive side. If I am not well enough to lead my life, how can I do things for others? That's all you need to realise.

The human animal will always help others. So will all other animals, in their own way. We are not alone.  This is a survival mechanism and does not need the fancy words of psychology to conclude this.
