HUMAN RESONANCE
_____________________

I am trying to explain how the human animal communicates with the universe-as-a-whole.

Given that absolutely nothing is 'solid' (even though it may appear so) and the universe is an electrical/plasma entity (which is the only explanation of the universe that works and is patently observable), I am suggesting that there is a resonance between all objects in the universe, whatever they are and however they are made up.

Supposedly, everything is made up of atoms. Atoms, however, are not solid objects. For a start, atoms may be broken down into smaller units (electrons, protons and neutrons etc.). As we gain more knowledge from experiment, these units get smaller and smaller existing for extremely short times). How small they get is open to conjecture. Even these smaller particles are not 'solid' objects. This was the basis for Wave Theory. How these are explained is really, in my view, inexplicable. They are not directly tangible but can, in some way or other can sometimes be felt or demonstrated by experiment.

But I do not want to get bogged down in atomic physics and quantum mechanics and I don't believe it is necessary.

I believe that we all communicate at our more 'animal' nature through a process of resonance.

For my purposes I will use one of the definitions from Dictionary.com:

Resonate:
3. Electronics: to reinforce oscillations because the natural frequency of the device is the same as the frequency of the source.
(Emphasis mine)

I'll try and explain this. Every part of the universe has a natural frequency, it oscillates (to swing back and fro, e.g., a playground swing). These oscillations vary, of course depending what is oscillating. The oscillations may be small or large and are the basis for our hearing and so on. One example is a loudspeaker. The loudspeaker gives out certain oscillations and our ear interprets these oscillations and produces a reaction in our brain that resonates at the same frequency and we 'hear' music, or whatever. We can't 'see' these oscillations because they do not oscillate at the same frequency as our eyes. We cannot 'taste' these oscillations because they do not oscillate at the same rate as our tongue. Sometimes these oscillations may overlap. You can work that notion out for yourself.

Let's get a bit closer to home.

Why do we accept one person (or cat, dog, flower tree etc.) and not another? I think the answer lies in the oscillations (vibrations) or the sender and receiver at a certain time, place and circumstance. I think it is very subtle and not necessarily realisable but it happens. If something resonates at a particular rate (frequency) then we pick up those vibrations that match ours. In that sense it is pretty simple.

There is some confusion, I think, regarding like-like and like-unalike. For example, a magnet. The notion goes that opposites attract. This is not a norm (in a sense) for human contact with other creatures. So what is the problem? The problem is the words we use, not the effect. Who is to say that the resonant effect in magnets is not akin to a particular form of resonance not encountered in humans? Just because we may not understand the mechanism, doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

I believe that resonance answers a lot (if not all) of our interactions with the universe-as-a-whole. It would account for all paranormal experiences. Because we are all individual, we all react differently to stimuli; in this case the oscillations or vibrations from whatever part of the universe we are 'tune' into at any particular time, place and circumstance. There are times when I don't like dogs and other times when I want to be friendly; it doesn't always work because they may not be receptive at that time and place, so we do not communicate, at least in a positive sense. We oscillate between a magnet (like-unalike) instead of a like-like.

However, I believe the whole universe is interconnected and resonance is the answer be it physical or mental. At any given time, place and circumstance, we are a transmitter and receiver and mostly able to 'fine-tune' into what is appropriate.

I'm not sure I understand all this yet but I'm working on it.
