ELECTRIC UNIVERSE

The Author
The
author has been interested in (amongst many other things) in the
history of the universe since a child. That's over fifty years. He is
not a 'scientist' in the common meaning of the word whereby one needs a
'degree' from a 'University'. That does not mean he is not qualified to
speak or have views on any subject.
The author is a teacher
(mature student) of English and Special Needs, having perfo4rmed work
from clerk to oil exploration in the deserts of Western Australia and
sweeping roads (out of college time) at Walthamstow Market (UK) and the
surrounding areas.
The author is also a poet, musician and writer.
Electric Universe
There
are many theories of the origin of the universe depending on you
beliefs from a religious point of view and also, the scientific point
of view. The religious I leave to your beliefs. The scientific ones I
refer to here.
In the 1960's, when I was growing up, there were
two main theories as far as I was concerned. The Big Bang ( Gamow,
Lamaitre et al) and the Constant Regeneration (Fred Hoyle et al).
I have since learned of another and that is the Electric Universe/Plasma Universe theory.
I
do not believe it possible via 'scientific' means to ever understand
the real origins of the universe. I am not sure it is hmanly possible
but I may be corrected.
Having studied the electric/plasma
model, I am convinced that this may be the answer as we know it from
observation, not mathematics.
The Big Bang theory is basically
purely mathematical. Mathematics, like statistics (of which it is a
discipline) is purely numbers. If they don't add up, you make them add
up using more mathematics. This is the science of the Big Bang.
The
Big Bang also relies on the notion that gravitation (about which one
can say little, no matter how well 'trained') 'rules' the universe.
This cannot patently be true, since gravitaion is the weakest force in
physics.
