TERRAIN
__________
Life
(as we call it) is an enzymatic process. It is a continuum of
electro-chemical reactions. It is an adaptation to these continually
changing processes.
Nothing in Nature is unnecessary or wasted
although Nature knows nothing of these words; it merely does what it
does influenced only by naturally occuring processes.
The human body is the terrain.
This
terrain must be maintained, as far as possible for optimal performance.
The beginning of this maintenance is a balanced pH towards to alkaline.
Necessary natural chemicals also maintain this balance. To be 'healthy'
we must not compromise this balance.
If this optimal performance
is not maintained, the body will always self-heal in an attempt to
maintain it. It will do this to the point of what we call 'death'.
Varying states of disarray of maintenance will lead to what we call dis-ease.
Maintenance
of the terrain is accomplished by the action of natural sunlight, the
drinking of untainted water and the ingestion of natural food.
Anything less than this will produce a disrupted terrain and some form of physical or mental 'dis-ease'.
Dis-ease does not come from outside the body. All dis-ease occurs because of disruption of a properly maintained body.
The body adapts to its environment with a suitably maintained terrain.
For
example: what is a 'cold'? A 'cold' is the process of adaptation
through a change in climate; from hot to cold or cold to hot. The
symptoms are well-known; they are created from the adaptation not from
any 'germ' from outside. If the terrain has not been sufficiently
maintained, then the body will attempt to self-heal and produces what
are called 'symptoms'. The symptoms are actually the body's attempt to
heal itself.
What are called 'viruses' are not discrete entities
from an external source. (Which is why vaccines cannot work). Viruses
are a process of adaptation. They are part of the process of
self-healing. They will become bacteria and on to spores and death if
the terrain is not sufficiently maintained. The symptoms are the
healing, not the dis-ease.
To try to 'mend' the symptoms, we are
preventing healing. What the body needs is a combination of some of the
things that complete maintenance, not something which destroys it.
If
the body is not compromised it will not get unhealthy. Barring
accidental injury the body can survive for a long period of time
(comparative to other animals). In other words, a healthy body does not
get sick.
Every day there are events which occur to compromise
the body. The question is risk management. Balance of ingestion of food
and drink, work and play is essential to allow self-healing.
There
is no 'dis-ease' that cannot be managed in a natural way; Nature has
provided. If people constantly forgo a natural life-style, they
have only themselves to blame. We are not victims of spurious,
non-existent germs.
Whatever the human animal is, it is an organised
electro-chemical process which has adapted into a 'mind-body' creature.
The process begins at birth and continues until the body heals itself
to what we call death. Death is the cessation of the mind-body process
but not the electro-chemical which continues in the grave.
Life
is a continuum, it does not stop but may cease to be, because it has
adapted into something else (that we may no longer recognise).
The
brain controls the body; that is its job. Whatever affects the brain
affects a part of the body it has adapted to organise. If at any stage
that adaptation has been compromised, a relative part of the body will
be affected which may affect everything else. That is why holistic
(whole body) medicine is so important.
Given that the body is a
continuum of constant processing of electro-chemical stimulus, then it
would surely follow that the degree to which the body is affected in
any given situation is the strength of the stimulus (including the
ingestion of food, etc.).
It is known, that cancers, for
example, are the result of a serious trauma (conflict).* The effect in
the brain is to react to heal the body. If the conflict is resolved,
then the self-healing will take place and you would not know that you
had this 'cancer'.
If the conflict is not resolved, then the
'symptoms' of self-healing occur. These are the 'lumps', 'tumours' that
may be detected. If the conflict is resolved, then these 'lumps' will
disappear of their own accord. If removed, the further trauma of
surgical shock will create new cancers. The body will then heal itself
to death unless the original conflict is resolved.
Cancer
treatment should consist in resolving the cause of the conflict (this
is where money needs to be spent). The body will self-heal if not
compromised by pharmaceuticals, surgery and irradiation.
There
are also many natural treatments for the symptoms by various
spurned-by-the-establishment practitioners and I am sure that the
treatment is effective in itself and the help in resolving the original
conflict.
The above regarding cancer is an example for any so-called 'dis-ease'.
Look after the terrain and the terrain will look after itself.
